Legend dominates Columbine in 43–0 shutout victory

The Legend Titans are off to a dominant start this season — now 3–0 after a commanding 43–0 shutout victory over Columbine on Friday night. The win marks the first time in program history that Legend has defeated the Rebels. The loss extended Columbine's losing streak to three games this season. Leading the way for the Titans was quarterback DJ Bordeaux, who was nearly flawless under center. Bordeaux threw for 284 yards and three touchdowns, completing 78.9% of his passes, according to MaxPreps. On the ground, Ryken Banks was electric, rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries. Legend also got key contributions from Ryan Iglesias, who hauled in 99 receiving yards. That would make our play of the week highlight. With the win, Legend improves to 3–0, while Columbine falls to 0–3. Both teams will be on the road next week. Columbine travels to face Fossil Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Legend will visit Arvada West at 7:30 p.m.
