Grant awarded for new hub to help Denver community respond to emergencies and natural disasters
A renovation could soon get underway to boost the community's ability to respond to disasters like wildfires and those impacted by emergencies. Community organization Commún received a $20 million community change grant from the EPA to turn an old 40,000-square-foot building into the Loretto Heights Resiliency Hub.
