Colorado's Sudanese community ask Colorado officials, residents to help victims of Sudan's civil war

On Sunday, peaceful demonstrators gathered in Denver to raise awareness about the humanitarian crisis in Sudan amid that country's civil war. Speakers from Colorado's Sudanese community called on state lawmakers and the community to help and are collecting donations for the civilians they say are trapped without food, access to water, or medical aid.
