'You've Given Us Back Our Life': Man Meets Rescuers Who Saved Him
DENVER (CBS4) - A man whose life was saved by jogger and a 911 operator in September met his rescuers in person on Wednesday.
Since suffering cardiac arrest while running with this wife in Denver' Cheesman park, Phil Lawson has been searching for the good Samaritans who kept him alive with CPR.
He finally got to thank them.
"Glad we could help you," 911 operator Tim Hucksoll told Lawson and his wife when meeting them on Wednesday.
"We needed it," Lawson responded.
"You've given us back our life," Lawson's wife, Pam, said.

On Sept. 30 in the park, the Lawsons were jogging when Phil collapsed.
"We were running a man was jogging along and just dropped over," a woman could be heard screaming to Hucksoll, who took the 911 call. "Oh my God, he's dying, he's dying."
Hucksoll calmly talked the woman, who was also jogging in the park.
"Listen carefully. I'm going to tell you how to do chest compressions," he told her, asking her to count along with him on the phone.
"Count out loud, please," he asked her.
Erin Murray, the jogger who performed CPR, said Wednesday: "I always think about him."
Doctors said Murray's quick actions saved Lawson's life. They met in the park on Wednesday after the Lawsons had posted a sign looking for his rescuer.
"I'm so glad you're alive," Murray said. "Every day that I run here, I think about you and I wondered how you were."
It wasn't the first time Murray witnessed a heart attack. When she was 16, her father collapsed and died on the way to the hospital.
"I'm so happy that you are alive. Really, it means a lot to me," Murray told Lawson.
