Young Patients Get A Special Visit From Stock Show Stars

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - The National Western Stock Show is in town for just one more week, and on Tuesday the rodeo went on the road to visit some special children.

Professional cowboys, cowgirls, bullfighters, and even rodeo queens spent the morning at Children's Hospital Colorado. They taught patients and their families roping, barrel racing, and even let them ride some stuffed bulls.

"It's really fun. We got to run around barrels with fake horses and get autographs from the rodeo queens and get to talk to them," said Addison Clause, whose sister is a patient at the hospital.

It was the second year in a row the rodeo has gone to the hospital.
