Woman Uses 'Life Alert' To Call For Help After Being Tied Up
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A woman in Colorado Springs used her "life alert" button to call for help after her son threatened to kill her.
The 84-year-old woman called for help after her son, Matthew McBride, allegedly tied up the woman and her daughter with a vacuum cord and threatened to kill them.
She told police he said he would let them go but only if she signed a court statement about a harassment case.
Police arrived and arrested McBride.
