Woman Plotted To Kill Husband With Poison Whiskey
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4)- A woman from Grand Junction has admitted to plotting to kill her husband by poisoning his whiskey.
Deone Graham pleaded guilty in court. She faces up to 24 years in prison when she is sentenced.
Police claim she laced her husband's drink with morphine, eye drops and crushed pills in February.
The concoction partially blinded her husband and made him sick for three days.
According to the police report, Graham suspected her husband was cheating and wanted to kill him so she could collect his retirement benefits.
