Woman Gets Question Of A Lifetime After Running The Rock 'N' Roll Denver ½ Marathon
DENVER (CBS4) - After both running 13.1 miles in the Rock 'n' Roll Denver ½ Marathon, a Denver couple is now engaged to be married.
Mason Miller proposed to his longtime girlfriend Sarah Traut after she crossed the finish line Sunday.
"I would have run faster if I knew that was coming." Sarah said.
Miller pre-planned the event and invited friends and family to stand on the sidelines with posters reading "Mason Loves Sarah" and drawings of rings.
"I set them up," friend Julia Olson said.
"She was out for a run getting ready for this and he said, 'This is the deal and I want everyone there,'" Olson's husband Graham said.
After accepting the proposal, Traut said she had no idea.

"It was awesome," Miller said.
The couple plans on resting up from their half-marathon and then celebrating with friends and family.
