Westminster Approves Massive Residential & Retail Development

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - The City of Westminster and Westminster Economic Development Authority have approved an agreement to create a residential and retail development at 88th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.

There will be 282 residential units with 25,000 square feet of retail. Ten percent of the housing will be workforce housing at rents lower than market rate.

Other features in that space include a 40,000 square foot Alamo Drafthouse Theater, underground parking, and LEED Silver certification for energy efficiency and sustainability.

Construction will begin next year and the projected completion date is mid-2018.
