West Metro Fire Rescue Crews Travel To California To Help Battle Wildfires
(CBS4)- Wildfire season is underway in California and a fire crew from Colorado is already on the way to help. West Metro Fire Rescue crews will most likely be based around the Los Angeles area.
The state has two active wildfires and a Red Flag Warning. The crew will be pre-positioned and ready to respond to an initial attack if a fire ignites.
Those attacks are important in keeping a fire small and communities safe.
