Watch Out For Construction Projects On US 6, Broadway
DENVER (CBS4) - There are two different construction projects going on this weekend that drivers in the Denver metro area should be aware of.
Broadway will be closed at midnight until 5 a.m. from Alameda to Alaska. Local detours will be in place.
Highway 6 (6th Avenue) has another closure due to construction. The closure will take place at Federal starting Saturday night at 9 p.m. and it will be closed until Sunday at 7 a.m. The alternate route is Sheridan Boulevard. It's part of a $100 million project where Colorado Department of Transportation crews are fixing bridges along the route.
Highway 36 from Interlocken to McCaslin Boulevard was also scheduled to be closed at until Saturday morning but the project is now to be rescheduled.
People can use South Boulder Road and Dillon Road north of the Boulder Turnpike to get around the closure.
