US 6 Closed In Clear Creek Canyon For National Public Lands Day
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Drivers headed west into the mountains to see the fall colors should avoid parts of US 6 on Saturday. The highway will be closed starting at 7 a.m. between Highway 93 and Highway 119 in Jefferson County.
It's all part of National Public Lands Day. Nearly 500 volunteers will be cleaning up Clear Creek Canyon Park.
US 6 is expected to reopen around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
