UPS Returns To Business As Usual After Delivering Delayed Packages
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- Business has returned to normal at the United Parcel Service distribution center in Commerce City after a Christmas Eve delivery delay.
Thousands of people in the Denver metro area were frustrated with UPS after not receiving their packages by the scheduled delivery date.
An estimated 50,000 packages missed their delivery date which caused an uproar from customers wanting their packages for Christmas.
"A package I was supposed to get on the 22nd I ended up getting on what, the 27th? So, here I am," said one frustrated customer.
UPS blamed the delay on the snowstorm that hit the Front Range Dec. 21 and 22.
UPS said all of the backlogged packages were delivered or picked up on Tuesday.
