Thousands Help Colorado In Annual Xcel Energy's Day Of Service
DENVER (CBS4) - CBS4 thanks the nearly 4,000 volunteers signed up for Xcel Energy's Day of Service on Saturday.
Team members from CBS4 spent Saturday morning making baby blankets for little ones born at Denver Health Medical Center as thousands of other volunteers helped spruce up parks and open spaces and also made hygiene kits for homeless veterans.
In all, there were 79 service projects all around the state.
