Jurors heard from the investigator responsible for taking the photos of bullet fragments and holes in theater chairs and the walls of the theater. They were then shown a model of the theater that indicates where those bullets hit.

Jurors also heard more testimony from victims who were injured. Carli Richards testified that she was one of the first people to escape the theater when a tear gas canister hit her feet.

When asked where the canister hit her, she replied, "It hit us right here and landed at our feet."

Jurors also heard about the gunman's email accounts and his online orders for ammunition.

Thursday's testimony will end the third week of the trial, which could last another four months. But prosecutors say they are ahead of schedule.

Jurors must determine whether defendant James Holmes was legally insane during the 2012 attack that left 12 dead and 70 injured.
