Snow falls in Colorado mountains, westbound lanes of I-70 reopen after crash near Vail Pass Summit
Snow continued to fall in the Colorado mountains on Tuesday morning as the westbound lanes of I-70 were closed for a while near Vail Pass Summit due to a crash. The closure expired about a little more than an hour after the crash.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, westbound lanes were closed at exit 190 near Copper Mountain at 8:20 a.m. What caused the crash is being investigated.
