Snake Fire Burns Near Colorado-Wyoming Border
MEDICINE BOW NATIONAL FOREST, Wyo. (CBS4)- The Snake Fire has exploded in size over the weekend. The wildfire started burning near the Colorado-Wyoming state line on Saturday.
The wildfire has burned about 2,000 acres near the Battle Creek Campground in the Medicine Bow National Forest.
Fire crews blame the extreme fire growth on low humidity levels and strong wind gusts. It's not clear how the fire started.
