Severy Creek Fire Burns Near Pikes Peak
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Lightning sparked a new fire on the north slope of Pikes Peak. The Severy Creek Fire is burning about 11 miles west of Colorado Springs.
The smoke plume is very visible since the fire started Friday morning.
Crews are using water drops from a helicopter and expect to have containment soon on the small wildfire.
