Avalanche Goalie Semyon Varlamov Named NHL First Star Of The Week
DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov was named the NHL's First Star of the Week.
Varlamov went 3-0-0 with a 1.34 goals-against average and one shutout last week.
His other stats last week were impressive:

- 107 Saves
Varlamov has been named to the NHL's weekly stars six other times as a member of the Avalanche. Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen also were named weekly stars this season.
