Schools On Secure Perimeter After Police Surround Residence
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Two schools in Aurora were placed on secure lockdown while police surrounded a residence on Thursday afternoon.
Police rushed to investigate a family disturbance in the 1900 block of S. Vaughn Way in Aurora.
When officers arrived, they discovered that the person inside may have a gun.
Overland High School and Prairie Middle School were placed on secure perimeter as a precaution due to the proximity of the developing situation with police.
