RTD cancels $18M order for electric buses
RTD has canceled its $18 million order for 17 electric buses. The agency said it doesn't have the space to charge, maintain and store the new buses and the special equipment the vehicles require.
Despite the reversal, RTD's board approved a new goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
