Agricultural Fire That Turned Into Wildfire Contained After Burning 900 Acres
MEEKER, Colo. (CBS4)- An agricultural burn that turned into a massive wildfire has been contained. The County Road 8 Fire has been burning since last weekend in Western Colorado.
More than 900 acres have burned on private land southeast of the town of Meeker. No structures have been destroyed.
The Rio Blanco Sheriff said that recent snow and chilly temps helped crews get the blaze under control.
