Pueblo Rejects Same-Sex Benefits For City Employees

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) - Gay and lesbian activists are upset after a decision from the Pueblo City Council on Tuesday.

Council members rejected a proposal that would have let city employees have same-sex domestic partners added to their insurance and other benefits.

The council voted to put it off for the time being but agreed to review it in the future if the economy improves.
