Popular 4x4 Trail Into Telluride Back Open After Rock Slide
TELLURIDE, Colo. (CBS4) - A popular 4x4 trail near Telluride is once again open.
A rock slide over the weekend shut down Black Bear Pass.
Black Bear Road is officially Forest Service Road 648. The trail starts from the 11,018-foot summit of Red Mountain Pass on U.S. Highway 550 between Ouray and Silverton and ends in Telluride.
Crews cleared the pass Monday morning.
