New Hoverboard Users: Beware Of Crashes
DENVER (CBS4) - For those Coloradans who found hoverboards waiting under the Christmas tree this year, be warned that there are some people across the country who are trying them out and getting hurt.
That was the case for Rep. Carlos Curbelo, a Florida Congressman who posted a pictured of his arm in a sling on his Twitter.
Curbelo said he wound up in the emergency room after trying out his nephew's hoverboard.
Baseball player Dan Uggla also reportedly fell over while using the device, and CBS News reports that videos of people crashing on hoverboards have been going viral quickly on social media in the past few days.
