Manning, Brady To Meet For 17th Time
DENVER (CBS4) - When Peyton Manning and the Broncos face Tom Brady and the Patriots next Sunday, it will be the 17th meeting between the two future Hall of Famers.
The Broncos are headed to the AFC Championship after defeating the Steelers 23-16.
Brady has won 11 of the 16 matchups between the two quarterbacks.
The Broncos met the Patriots during the regular season, but Manning sat out the game due to his foot injury. Manning's backup Brock Osweiler led the Broncos to 30-24 overtime victory on Nov. 29 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
The Patriots will be playing in their fifth consecutive AFC Championship game.
If the Broncos defeat the Patriots they would head to the Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7.
