Man In Custody After Girlfriend Found Dead In Lakewood
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Lakewood Police Department is investigating a suspicious death as a homicide.
On Tuesday Corey Anthony Lopez, 21, called police saying his girlfriend was unresponsive. When officers arrived they found the body of 21-year-old Richelle Best.
An autopsy found the cause of death as non-visible trauma.
Lopez was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder and domestic violence. He'll be in court on Monday.
