LiveWell At Work Campaign Kicks Off For Whole Month

DENVER (CBS4) - LiveWell Colorado is kicking off a whole month dedicated to promoting health and wellness at work.

On Tuesday Mayor Michael Hancock helped lead an exercise class. Organizers say the program encourages people to be more active and make healthier choices.

"We do spend a lot of time at work and if we can just make a couple of healthy changes, small ones, it can really make a big difference," a LiveWell Colorado official said.

There are several more events this month. Starting Wednesday "Workout Wednesdays" will be held each week on the 16th Street Mall between Stout and Glenarm. There will also be "Fresh Fruit Fridays" with free fruit stands.

This Thursday Larimer Square will shut down for "Yoga in the Street."
