Light Rail Death Being Investigated As Accident
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A person who was struck by a westbound light rail train on Friday evening has died.
The incident happened at Oak and 13th, and police say they are investigating the case as a possible accident.
They say it appears that the man did not intentionally jump onto the tracks of the RTD Light Rail.
RTD closed a portion of the light rail line for several hours after the incident.
