Warming Again This Week With Sunshine in Abundance

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - A winter storm moving over New Mexico on Monday has brought rain and snow to southern Colorado. The precipitation remained south of Denver but clouds associated with the storm gave Denver mostly cloudy skies all day long...our high reached 48 degrees, which is just a couple above normal for this time of year.

Skies will clear overnight with sunny skies tomorrow as our high in Denver pushes into the low 50s...not a whole lot warmer than Monday, but the sunny skies will make it seem a lot warmer. But we will enjoy another solid spring-like warm-up as we push into the mid 60s on Wednesday and near 70 for Thursday - nearly 25 degrees above normal! Sunshine stays on Friday as we end the week with a high in the low 60s. The weekend will see more in the way of clouds with highs in the upper 50s to around 60.
