Warm And Mainly Dry This Week
By Ed Greene
DENVER (CBS4) - After a warm weekend - 82 degrees no Saturday and 74 on Sunday, that weather pattern continued on Monday as the high rose to 79 degrees officially, and that is just 3 degrees off the record high for this date, set just two years ago! A storm system sitting off the northern US border will head into Canada as it treks east, but it will drag a cold front along with it and that could scatter some rain showers across the state, and some light snow above 11,000 feet...and then it is gone...and that is the best chance for any moisture from last week all the way through this week, and right through the weekend ahead. The temperatures that will go along with this dry weather will stay mild - in the low to mid 70s, with Thursday standing out as the warmest day, getting to near 80 degrees!
