Slightly Cooler Tuesday, But Big Cooling By Thursday
By Ed Greene
DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado Day was a hot one as we reached 96 degrees officially at the airport and 95 degrees downtown. Tomorrow we get a weak push from a cooler air mass and that will drop our temperatures to near 90 degrees. Then another warm-up on Wednesday as jump back into the low to mid 90s. A stronger surge of much cooler air arrives Thursday with scattered storms and a high only in the upper 70s! Still cool with a better chance for showers and storms for Friday - a high in the mid to upper 70s.
We'll start the weekend warming back into the low to mid 80s with scattered showers and storms on Saturday; partly cloudy with only isolated storms on Sunday as we warm back into the upper 80s.
