A Quick Cool Down After Hitting The 90s

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) -

Another hot and sunny day in Colorado! Our far southeastern corner got into the triple digits! Most of the state stayed dry, except for a few showers and a quick thunderstorms in the northwest.

A dry cold front rolled through, which brought quite a bit of wind to Colorado. Behind this front, we'll be about 10 to 15 degrees cooler on Saturday. We should have a gorgeous weekend with highs only in the upper 70s! Enjoy the outdoors!

Sunday is still pretty dry, with slightly warmer temperatures.  There could be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the mountains on Sunday. A few isolated storms could roll into the Denver area on Sunday afternoon.
