Police Search For Hit & Run Driver Who Struck Cruiser
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Lakewood are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a police cruiser early Tuesday morning.
Police were trying to stop a suspicious vehicle, a gold Chevy Tahoe, about 2:45 a.m. near Sheridan Boulevard and Yale Avenue.
The driver crashed into a police vehicle and tried to hit another before speeding away.
No officers were hurt.
The suspect drove off in the SUV that most likely has some damage.
