Kerry Cremeans Joins DU As Women's Hoops Coach
DENVER (AP) -- The University of Denver has hired Kerry Cremeans (krah-MEANS) as its new women's basketball coach.
She replaces Eric Johnson, who left to coach at Boston College.
Cremeans spent eight seasons at Auburn, including the last two as the program's associate head coach.
A 1994 graduate of Florida and four-year basketball letter-winner, Cremeans served on the coaching staff of her alma mater in 2003-04 after spending seven years as the top recruiter at Purdue under coach Nell Fortner.
