Investigation Determines Driver Blamed In Fatal Crash Was Drunk
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators now say the driver in a fatal crash in Aurora was drunk.
Investigators say 24-year-old Phillip Klemenov was under the influence of alcohol in the crash that killed two people in October.
Klemenov died at the hospital. One of his two passengers died on scene. His 18-year-old girlfriend survived with minor injuries.
Police say speed was also a factor. The car was going more than double the 35-mile-an-hour limit.
