Hundreds Gather To Promote Trust, Equality In Rally For Unity
DENVER (CBS4)- Hundreds of people gathered in Civic Center Park on Sunday for a rally for unity after days of protests.
The rally was organized to build trust and help promote equality in the aftermath of the presidential election.
"We don't want to bring fear to the neighborhood. We don't want to disrupt the city's life but we also need to fight for our rights," said activist Phoenix.
Organizers told CBS4 they want Denver's peaceful rally to be an example for others nationwide.
