Hiker Dies After Fall In Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado Springs Sheriff's Department is warning hikers to stay on designated trails after a man died when he fell off a popular trail.
The man was hiking with a friend near Old Stage Road by Emerald Valley Ranch. Authorities say he got off the trail and fell down a cliff.
It took rescue crews several hours to reach the man. He died before they could get to him.
