Health Care Policies For 29,000 Coloradans Canceled in 2014
DENVER (CBS4) - Health insurance policies for nearly 29,000 Coloradans have been cancelled this year, some because they don't meet standards under the Affordable Care Act.
The Colorado Division of Insurance said 11 health insurers canceled the plans. Humana cut approximately 17,900 last month.
In 2013, more than 330,000 Coloradans had to find alternative health care because of the new requirements.
