Girl Struck, Killed While Crossing Pueblo Highway
PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say an 8-year-old girl was struck and killed by a vehicle as she ran across a state highway that passes through Pueblo.
The Colorado State Patrol says the girl was hit as she crossed State Highway 50C in the southeastern part of the city just before 10 p.m. Saturday. She was pronounced dead at a Pueblo hospital.
Investigators say the driver remained at the scene of the crash and is not believed to be at fault.
