Firefighters Use 'Fog Nail' To Extinguish House Fire In Fort Collins
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews with Poudre Fire Authority battled cold and snow while trying to put out a house fire in Fort Collins. Firefighters used what's called a "fog nail" to knock down the flames.
That's a narrow nozzle that goes through the roof and sprays out water like a fire sprinkler.
Firefighters had the fire under control in about 30 minutes. No one was hurt in the fire.
