FBI Investigating Key Bank Robbery
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are teaming up with the FBI to investigate a bank robbery in Denver.
It happened at about 10:08 a.m. August 1 at the Key Bank at 6405 East Hampden Avenue in Denver.
The suspect walked into the bank and presented the teller with a demand note that claimed he had a bomb. A backpack was left behind. No device was found.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, 35 to 45 years old, approximately 5-foot-6 with a medium build and brown hair.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon was used in the crime.
