2 El Paso County Deputies Seriously Injured In Crash During Pursuit
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Two El Paso County Sheriff's deputies were seriously injured in a crash during a pursuit. The crash happened on Highway 24 over the weekend.
The Colorado State Patrol said the deputies targeted a speeding vehicle and tried to turn around on the highway.
The deputies turned on their lights and tried to make a U-turn. That's when the patrol car was struck by an SUV that was traveling behind the deputies.
