Echo Mountain Ski Resort Put Up For Sale

DENVER (CBS4) - Echo Mountain has been put up for sale by Racebrook.

Echo Mountain covers 226 acres in Clear Creek County and is just 35 miles west of Denver.

"To have a ski resort situated on 100 percent private land is unheard of in the ski industry, so Echo Mountain provides an extremely rare opportunity for a local or international buyer to purchase the property and continue its evolution into a unique winter and year-round sports destination," Racebrook CEO John Cuticelli said in a statement.

It will be sold through a sealed bid auction. Bids are due by Aug. 2.

The resort just enjoyed one of its best seasons ever.
