Eagle County Voters Considers 7 Taxes
VAIL, Colo. (AP) - Eagle County voters will decide the fates of seven tax increase requests in this year's November election.
Included are requests to increase local school funding by up to $6 million a year, fire protection by nearly $2 million a year, doubling Eagle's hotel tax, and a statewide proposal to raise taxes by $3 billion over five years to help fund Colorado's education system.
According to the Vail Daily, not everyone will get a chance to vote on all of the taxes. The ballot measures depend on where voters live.
