DIA Cites Record Traffic Last Year

DENVER (AP) — Denver International Airport is reporting its busiest year in its 17-year history.

Airport officials said Friday nearly 53 million people went through the airport last year, about 1 million more than 2010.

Aviation Manager Kim Day says two new carriers, Icelandair and Spirit, will continue to draw more fliers.
