Deputies Shoot, Kill Woman After Chase In Adams County
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story stated that deputies said the woman who was fatally shot was armed, but the District Attorney's office later clarified that she was not armed.
(CBS4) - Deputies shot and killed a woman after a chase involving a suspected stolen Jeep. The initial chase began early Tuesday morning at Interstate 76 and East 88th Avenue.
Deputies lost sight of the Jeep and found it abandoned near East 25th Avenue and Imboden Road. That's near Watkins.
Their search led them to two women. Deputies opened fire, killing one of the women.
An investigation is ongoing.
