Denver Eatery Runs Out Of Ice Cream During Warm Weekend
DENVER (CBS4) - The unseasonably warm temperatures in Denver over the weekend made it hard for some establishments to keep enough ice cream in stock.
On Sunday Russ Tearney, the owner of Pajama Baking Company on Old South Pearl Street, said he had run out.
"On Thursday night I made enough ice cream to get us through the weekend and by Saturday night it was gone," he told CBS4.
Tearney said that the demand for ice cream soared on Saturday, a day in which the record high was smashed in Denver for the second straight day.
Tearney said his store should be fully stocked for business on Monday.
