Denver Public Schools Considers Removing School Resource Officers
DENVER (CBS4) — Denver Public Schools is considering whether to remove school resource officers from the district. The Denver Board of Education held a meeting on Thursday to discuss the issue.
Board member Tay Anderson said there could be up to five hours of public comment and the vote won't be taken until later Thursday night.
Some board members believe their Department of Safety, along with mental health resources, would be more effective.
