DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver are investigating a double shooting that occurred Thursday night.

It happened in the 7100 block of East Mississippi Avenue at the Spyglass Hill Apartments, at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Two people were transported to the hospital in critical condition and police searched for a suspect through the night.

A woman who lives below the apartment where the shooting happened told CBS4 what she heard, "It sounded like, well I mean, somebody was getting drop-kicked all over the apartment. Like I had stuff knocked off my walls, people hit the floor so hard."

No suspect information has been released.
